Bass Sidechain EQ Tip

In Logic, try putting an EQ on a Send/Bus that is set to a High Shelf (that is floored), and a Low Shelf that is (to the ceiling). Push up the send about a quarter of the way. You can then play with the Low Shelf's Frequency parameter to nail the tonal feel and harmonics of a bass.
